Attendance Policy
- • One semester consists of 15 weeks.
- • According to Ewha Womans University Regulations (Article 40), a student who is absent for one-third of the semester or more will receive a grade of F (Failure) or U (Unsuccessful) for the course.
- • Stricter attendance rules may apply depending on the course. Please refer to the course syllabus for specific requirements.
- • Absences may be excused under certain circumstances, and supporting documents are required for all excused absences. Students are responsible for contacting their instructors directly regarding attendance and possible exemptions.
Grading System
- • GPA Scale: 4.3
- • Grading System: Letter grades (A+, A, A-, B+, …) or Pass/Fail (S/U or P/F)
Official Transcripts
- • Official transcripts are issued upon completion of the semester.
- • Transcripts will be sent via email in late January (Fall semester) and late July (Spring semester).
- • For exchange students, transcripts will be sent to students and their home institutions. For visiting students, transcripts will be sent only to the students.
- • Students are advised to confirm with their home institutions whether credits earned at Ewha will be accepted.
How to Request Additional Transcripts
Additional transcript requests can be made by sending an email to the Student Service Center (service@ewha.ac.kr).
* Note: When a request is made to the Student Service Center, students will be informed of the issuance fee and mailing fee. Payment must be made via wire transfer before transcripts are processed. Further information will be provided by the Student Service Center at service@ewha.ac.kr or +82-2-3277-3231.
